Programs
VEAEA runs two programs today: VOLT, a music platform that pays artists directly, and SafeGuide, a harm reduction guide in many languages. Everything else here is open to artists who want to build it with us.
Both are live and open to the public.
VOLT
VOLT is VEAEA's direct-to-fan music platform, open to electronic artists anywhere. Artists sell their releases straight to listeners and keep 95% of every sale. Every Friday is Volted Music Friday, when VEAEA waives its 5% cut and artists keep 100%. VOLT is run by the charity, so its takings are VEAEA's income.

SafeGuide isn't VEAEA claiming to be harm-reduction experts. It's an aggregator and a bridge: real, expert-written harm-reduction information on 17 substances, made to actually reach people who'd otherwise be shut out by language or format. Free and anonymous, in English and 35 other languages. Volunteer reviewers are checking the translations language by language, so not every page has been reviewed yet.

Exhibition Program
Exhibitions of work by electronic arts practitioners: artists working with software, generative systems, sound installation, and live audiovisual performance. We have not run one yet. We are looking for artists and venues to build the first with us.

Hands-on sessions in electronic music production, live coding, generative visuals, modular synthesis, and sound design, open to people of any technical background. None have run yet. If you can teach one, or want to learn one, tell us.

Direct commissions for new works from Victorian electronic artists, paid above minimum rates. We have not issued one yet. If you have a work in mind and would like it commissioned, tell us what it is.

Concerts, listening sessions, public screenings, and open studios, run with the artists and venues who want to host them. None have run yet. If you want to put one on with VEAEA, start here.
Propose an eventArtist Residencies
Structured residency placements for electronic artists, giving time, space, and a small stipend to develop new work without the pressure of immediate output. Currently in development; expressions of interest welcome.
