Membership
Membership is open to anyone with a genuine connection to electronic arts practice or community. There is no joining fee.
Who can join
VEAEA membership is open to electronic arts practitioners — musicians, sound artists, coders, performers, educators — as well as community members with a genuine interest in the sector. You do not need to be a professional artist.
We do ask that applicants have some connection to Victoria, whether you live here now or have ties to the local community.
What you get
Your membership directly funds electronic arts programs, commissions, and community infrastructure in Victoria.
Priority registration for workshops, and eligibility to submit work for the exhibition program.
Access to the VEAEA member network — practitioners, educators, and organisers working across Victoria.
Receive member-only updates including program opportunities, funding news, and calls for submissions.
Share ideas and feedback directly with the people running VEAEA. We read everything, even if we can't promise every idea makes it in.
Membership is currently free. We may introduce a nominal annual fee in future — existing members will be consulted and given notice before any change.
