Our Mission
We believe society shouldn't have to rely on alcohol sales to finance artistic creation or curation. VEAEA exists to build alternative, sustainable funding models for the electronic arts in Victoria.
Most electronic arts events here run on bar-minimum deals — a venue sets a drink-sales target, and if the room doesn't hit it, the promoter absorbs the loss, regardless of how good the night was. That quietly decides what art gets made and who gets paid. We're building the alternative.

Artists get paid for the work, not whatever's left after a bar minimum is covered.
