VOLT just shipped two changes — a way to put your music on your own website, and a quicker way for fans to pass a track along. Neither changes how much artists keep. It's all about making the music easier to find and easier to sell wherever you already are.

Sell your music on your own site

Every track now has an embeddable player. Open the Tracks tab in your artist dashboard, hit Embed on any track, and copy a snippet onto your own site, EPK, or blog: <iframe src="https://volt.veaea.org/widget/track/{track-id}" width="400" height="110"></iframe>.

It shows the artwork, title, and artist, plays a short preview, and sends anyone who wants the full track to a Buy button that lands them on VOLT. Nothing about the private master files is exposed — the embed only ever plays the same preview clip fans hear on your VOLT release page. Views and plays on each embed show up back in your dashboard, and you can turn embeds off entirely from your Profile tab if you'd rather keep listening on VOLT only.

Amp Share

Every release page now has a Share button next to the title, for anyone who just wants to pass the link along. Artists get more than that: hit "+ Create Amp Share page" in your dashboard and VOLT builds a standalone page at volt.veaea.org/amp/{your-release} — artwork and a Buy on Volt button front and centre, with any other platforms you've listed (SoundCloud, Spotify, Beatport, Bandcamp) underneath. Your dashboard also gives you a QR code for that link, ready to save for stencils, flyers, or a bio link — separate from the main VOLT store page.

Where to find it

  • Artists: the Embed button is in your dashboard's Tracks tab; "Also available on" links and "+ Create Amp Share page" are further down in your release editor.
  • Fans: every release page has a Share button next to the title; an artist's Amp Share page (if they've made one) lives at volt.veaea.org/amp/{slug}.

VOLT stays a place where artists keep as much of the sale as possible. These two changes are about getting the music further from there — onto your own site, into a DM, wherever a fan already is.
